Birthday weekend in Minneapolis

We went to Minneapolis to celebrate James' 5th birthday with Todd's family.  On the way there we made a quick stop in Lamoni for lunch.  The boys enjoyed the swings and train.

 Friday night we enjoyed our favorite Pizza Luce and then went to the hotel to have a party for James.  The room was decorated with streamers and balloons!  Ashley brought a dairy queen ice cream cake for the birthday boy!

 Saturday morning we enjoyed some time at the pool before heading to the Mall of America.

 I guess I didn't realize how big James has gotten.  He was tall enough to do almost all of the rides.   Todd and James had so much fun on the roller coasters!

 Blake got to do some rides too....

It was a great weekend that went by too fast!
