My boys

Henry- 18 months

Henry you are really growing up!  You are no longer a baby.  You have changed so much in the past few months.  I feel like you went from crawling to a little boy in just 3-4 months.  You had your 18 month check up and are very healthy.  Here are your stats:
Height 33 1/2 inches (82%)
Weight 28 lbs 4 oz (79%)
Head 47.3 cm (36%)
You are actually the shortest of the boys at 18 months, but who knows if that is accurate.
You are always happy and always smiling.  Still living up to your nickname Happy Henry!
You finished nursing right after you turned 18 months.  You are also sleeping great.  Usually you take a 2-3 hour nap every afternoon.  You are also sleeping 11-12 hours at night.
You are a great eater and will eat almost anything we give you.

You don't have very many words, but we can tell you understand everything we say.  You can say mama, dada, wa wa, night night, bye(you love to wave to everyone).  You have other words, but they are really hard to understand.  You are starting to repeat some words too!
You are doing wonderful at school.  You love music, movement and playing with your friends.

You love your big brothers and look up to them so much.  You love to play rough with them and we can tell you are going to be very tough!  We love you Henry T!

James

James says some very funny and random things.  It totally reminds me of the little boy in Jerry McGuire that was full of random facts.  Such as , "do you know that the human head weighs 8 lbs?" OR  "did you know that bee's and dogs smell fear?"  Remember that?

Yesterday he tells me, "Mom, did you know that an owl has 3 eyelids?"
Me "No, I had no idea.  Really?"
He says "Yes, mom.  One for blinking, 1 for sleeping and 1 for cleaning their eyes."

So I had to look it up online to confirm.  Sure enough, an owl has 3 eyelids!

Snow Day with Daddy

A special gift

Great Grandma Rose made the boys a very special gift for Christmas this year.   She made them each a teddy bear out of some very special materials.  The boys love their new bears!

James' bear is made out of Great Grandpa Warren's overalls.

Blake's bear is made out of Great Grandma Rose's jeans.

Henry's bear is made out of Great Uncle Tom's trousers and Great Grandpa Warren's necktie.
We plan on giving them lots of big hugs!
