Christmas Cantata

James participated in the Christmas Cantata at church.  He is in the front row in a blue sweater.  It is a little hard to see him, but he was smiling so big the entire time that it made it hard for him to sing.  I'm sure his teacher told them all to smile, but it made James forget to sing!  :)

Thanksgiving

We celebrated our Christmas with the Stemsruds over Thanksgiving.  As always we had a great time and it went by too fast.  Thanksgiving morning we started a new tradition and ran in the Labolt, SD 5k with around 20 other brave and crazy people.  It was snowing and around 9 degrees!   Thanksgiving day we spent at Grandma Rose's with the Maus side.  Most of the pictures below were from us celebrating our family Christmas on Saturday night!

School picture fail

School pictures didn't go very well this year.  Henry, who is usually very happy wasn't happy this day.

James came home with this picture.  I laughed so hard when I saw this.  How can they even send kids home with pictures so terrible???
